Kasia Mosaics Studio Tour
Since November 2015, following our Kasia Mosaics US Tour, Kyle and I have moved into a live/work artist loft in the Santa Fe Arts District in Denver. I now have a wonderful studio to create my mosaics, to display them and to conduct monthly workshops. Watch Video Here
In the studio, we can accommodate up to 8 students. We teach a 1 Day Stained Glass Mosaic Mandala Class each month as well as a 2 Day Stained Glass Mosaic Owl/Flower Class. These classes are usually pretty small, between 3 to 6 students. This gives the students a unique opportunity to participate in a very intimate class setting where the students receive a lot of one on one attention from the artist/teacher. Whenever the classes are bigger, assistant instructor Kyle steps in to lend a helping hand.
Another benefit of taking a class in the Denver Studio is that students are surrounded by a big collection of my finished mosaics. Often there are also works in progress on the workbenches. Learning in a working artist’s studio can be very inspirational to a student who is just starting their journey as a mosaic artist.
I’d also like to mention that Kyle and I started making preliminary plans to relocate back into the mountains of Colorado. As wonderful as our studio is and as fun of a city Denver is, we miss being closer to nature. That said, a chance to learn in our incredible city studio may be limited depending on what the next few months bring our way. Our last big event in the studio will be a Kasia Mosaics Summer Retreat taking place in July. Folks are flying in from Florida and California. There are still 2 more spots open.
We are always open for the First Friday Art Walk, so if you’re not planning to take a class, you should still visit us, see the mosaics in person and say hello to Kyle and I. We are located at 910 Santa Fe Drive, Unit 302, Denver, CO, 80204
