Biography
Design Bio: I graduated from Pratt Institute with a B.I.D. in Industrial Design in Brooklyn, NY in 2006. I started out working as a model maker for a design shop in the Brooklyn, Navy Yard sculpting and installing custom sculptures for marketing campaigns and advertising. Later, I
worked as an industrial designer for a lighting company, designing lighting for Lowes and Homedepot. As the economy took a downturn I decided to change my path and with Kasia headed West into unchartered territory for us. Once here, I began working with local companies and entrepenuers developing their products for manufacturing. Last year, I started Design Sharpener, offering full service design, development, and a strategic process for bringing
products to manufacturing and ultimately store shelves.
Artist Bio: Aside from Design Sharpener, I also create my own artwork as well as collaborate with my wife Kasia on her Stained Glass Mosaic projects. One such project is our own sculpted Matryoshka Doll (See our studio).
